heywell is a line of adaptogenic sparkling waters with a focus on celebrating ‘wellness’ for all that it truly is—messy but joyful, looks-different-on-everybody, and sometimes just a little bit weird. Hoping to distinguish themselves in an already rapidly growing category, heywell came to Franklyn for a brand identity that could walk the talk.

We built an identity system centered around a distinctive set of delightfully lively illustrations, communicating joy & deliciousness with a balance of functionality & a down-to-earth tone of voice. Additionally, I speculatively redrew the original heywell stencil wordmark to feel more contemporary, juicy, and inline with the illustration style.
