By orchestrating typography and musical elements that converge to create something greater than their individual parts — much like the art form itself — we built an identity that honors art song’s history while equally celebrating its grand future ahead.
America’s only major city without a proper art museum asks us to make (art) history.
Austin Ellwein is a fibers artist and textile designer. The role of design in this context is not to unify or connect Ellwein‘s already distinctive work, but rather to emphasize the range of beautiful detail that makes each piece its own.
This work draws inspiration from vintage political design and puts a necessarily personal twist on traditional, predictable campaign design.
